| February 7, 2017 Princeton, NJ- Effective March 1, 2017, TRAC Intermodal will implement a General Rate Increase ("GRI") for TRAC Connect Chassis, as set forth in the table below. The GRI will allow us to: - Continue modernizing our chassis pool fleet. During 2016, TRAC refurbished thousands of chassis to "like new" condition and we are on-schedule to inject thousands more into the market by the end of 2017. These chassis feature LED lights, OEM tires, new brake systems and are completely re-wired and painted.
- Continue our enhanced maintenance policy. This policy eliminates "Repair Rebills" under $475 in a majority of our standard neutral chassis pools, provided the damage is not caused by driver negligence.
- Continue to provide our best-in-class road service policy for emergency roadside events. This policy is applicable to a majority of our standard neutral chassis pools and minimizes costs by getting your drivers back on the road faster. Our policy on non-roadside events will be subject to revised terms and conditions, which will be posted in our Terms and Conditions on or about March 1st.
- Radial Tire Conversion. We recently converted our fleet in Mobile, AL from bias ply tires to radial tires and will be expanding this program into additional markets.
